This is an On-Call /PRN position; If a FT position becomes available you will receive an offer.
Provide administrative support services in the Appointment Call Center for the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC (hereafter referred to as “the MTF”). A major feature of the military health care benefit for eligible Military Healthcare System (MHS) beneficiaries is access to Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) health care services via a scheduled appointment. The MTF’s goal is to provide priority appointment access to its beneficiaries.
Serve as the Customer Relations Representative for Appointing Services, answering complex appointment questions and resolving patient complaints.
Main Point of Contact for communication of MTF appointment criteria between their staff and the MTF clinics.
Continually monitor the appointment criteria set by clinics or the MTF for their impact on patients or staff.
Keep the MTF Healthcare Business Operations Department Head or designee informed of these impacts, positive and negative, as they are identified.
A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification(BLS) and not a CPR/AED.
At least 1 year of experience in a medical field.
Up-to-date immunization records ( we require a 2-step TB test)
Able to earn base access.
