Assistant Product Manager:

At UBT, we make sure we build products that serve the U.S. motorcoach industry and its customers. The Product Management team works closely with our engineers to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the Product Management team, the Assistant Product Manager bridges the technical and business worlds as you design services and products that our customers love. You'll work in a fast-paced start-up environment with various teams from Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting. You have strong execution skills and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development to shape the core of our business. This position is in the ELD Product Management department, which develops and supports our feature ELD product, SHIELD®

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product Manager to gather product requirements, design features, and improve overall user experience.
  • Implement bugs and process enhancements in an agile environment.
  • Perform all aspects of Product Enhancement such as playing an active role in the development of new updates to the products; working closely with the development team to provide tangible solutions to potential gaps; and be responsible for the design and implementation of a new feature.
  • Communicate new and improved processes, systems, software, applications and enhancements to management.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforcing and re-defining as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal communication while managing simultaneous projects.
  • Knowledge of Product Development Process.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented, agile environment. Self-motivated.
  • 0-1 years’ work experience or related internship experience preferred.
