Fundraising Data Analyst/Campaign Coordinator

The Fundraising Data Analyst supports fundraising activities in the Office of Development by gathering, manipulating, analyzing, and presenting data, and maintaining the integrity of the departmental constituent relationship management database. In collaboration with IT staff, ensures the integrity of the department’s donor database, Blackbaud CRM. This is a proprietary constituent relationship management application similar to Raiser’s Edge. This role creates, maintains and generates reports and visualizations to evaluate performance through appropriate metrics. Collaborates with Development leadership to apply analytics in order to drive results. Maintains data hygiene by implementing, documenting, and enforcing best practices in entering and exporting data. Runs audit reports and proactively follows up with other staff to ensure compliance and collect information. Supports research and prospecting activities by identifying, retrieving, querying, and appending data from internal and external data sources. Creates, implements, and maintains coding and tracking systems. Trains new staff members on using the database for both frontline and operational purposes.

Preferred Criteria

Experience with Blackbaud CRM
Familiarity with a statistical software such as Python, R, SPSS, or SAS
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with data analysis in a fundraising or marketing capacity
Experience using a database system such as Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce;
Required Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to document policies and procedures and communicate complex technical information both orally and in writing
