Full Job Description
As a Logistics Manager, you will use your functional expertise to support Unmanned Maritime Systems with complex decision making. You will use independent judgments to play a key role in drafting and developing the policies, guidelines, and procedures required to ensure quality and cost control, all falling within the broadly defined parameters of the DoD and Department of the Navy (DoN). Your decisions will impact acquisition logistics policies that recommend material support, life cycle engineering and support, ship configuration, and logistics support, spares procurement tracking, and shipboard maintenance to analyze the development and implementation of logistics plans. Leverage your experience networking with logistics support areas, including but not limited to, Human System Integration (HSI), Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) analysis, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) support, value engineering, readiness, and maintenance engineering, ship and maintenance planning. Work performance will be under limited direction while juggling multiple programs with varying timelines and life cycle stages using personal judgment to make decisions that may affect the project's cost, schedule, and quality.
7 years of experience with Navy logistics
4+ years of experience with Product Support Manager functions
Secret clearance required
HS diploma or GED
Nice if You Have:
Experience with Navy logistics as Active duty and NAVSEA Program Office support
Experience with the PPBE cycle
Experience with the Navy Modernization Process (NMP)
Experience with program management of major ACAT programs
BA or BS degree preferred; MBA or MS degree in an analytical field a plus
PMP or DAWIA Level II or III Certification or equivalent
