CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).

WBZ, a CBS O&O media company in Boston, is looking for an on-air personality to host, report and produce lifestyle content across New England. We are looking for a passionate personality to serve as the face of differentiated, brand compliant content in both a half hour show format as well as shorter, packaged content to be distributed across all of CBS Boston’s distribution platforms. This person will have a passion for local storytelling and ability to connect with viewers through interviews and adventures across New England. Responsibilities will also consist of idea development for content segments, ability to write own scripts and work with producers and/or photographers to develop content. We would expect this position to also assist in promotion of the content through both social media as well as event hosting and meetings with clients.

We are looking for someone with flexibility in schedule and ability to be available Monday through Friday, with the possibility of an occasional weekend production shoot. Some travel across New England is a possibility.

Content opportunities would also entail reporting on lifestyle content related to New England Patriots, Boston Marathon and other CBS Boston partnerships.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as an on-air talent. Former show host experience is a plus.
Passion for local storytelling and lifestyle content
Ability to interview and guide production on camera
Works well in collaborative environment
Proficient writing for both interviews and segments
Knowledgeable and engaged in social media and digital distribution in effort to promote content
Potential for limited travel across New England
