The Director, Integrated Demand Planning & Digitization position will report to the VP S&OP and have primary responsibility for driving the integrated demand plan across HARMAN’s Professional businesses, driving the transformation to digital for the supply chain.
This role will have approximately 5 direct reports and 3 external resources provided through our service providers.
What you will do:
The Director Integrated Demand Planning & Digitization leader will make critical decisions on all aspects of demand planning for HARMAN and have ultimate responsibility for:
Lead development of integrated demand plan across the Professional business that accounts for approx. 5 major demand triggers identified by the business eg Budget, Plan, Customer demand, Win rate, Forecasts & NPI.
Further developments and Implement for manufacturing an Integrated Demand plan for driving the inventory level, materials planning, long-term sourcing and capacity investments that will enable improved planning and business readiness.
Coordinate the balancing of the unconstrained demand requirements with the business constraints around capacity, material availability and inventory including prioritization rules and trade-offs.
Lead identification of “digitization” needs across the supply chain where improved analytic tools are needed to improve speed, accuracy and efficiency of business decision making.
Develop and implement a Supply Chain Dashboard which allows for decision making to ensure a worldclass SCM.
Ensure the completion of a monthly analysis of program launches and program ramp downs
Lead mind-long term capacity/supply constraint projection process.
Driver and leader of new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.
Owner of documentation, communication, training and deployment of standard, best practice SIOP policies, processes and procedures.
Co-Owner of long-term inventory management, including inventory level evaluations.
Provide risk scenarios for executive decision making around streamlining logistics and optimizing inventory.
Direct and monitor decision execution instructions at the implementation level and be able to present decision models and executive summaries to leaders.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional relevant job experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations with a record of increasing responsibility
5+ years of previous experience in a global leadership role
Superior leadership skills in traditional direct report and matrix environments
Strategic and creative thinker who is exceptionally adept with quantitative analysis
Solid oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels
Strong experience in leading change management
Having a proactive, goal oriented approach to decision making.
Clear and strategic thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans.
Capable of handling multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion.
Having respect for colleagues; leading teams with clarity and accountability.
Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization.
Able to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
Act as a Change Management expert and enabler on various projects and programs across the business.
Providing exceptional service and quality to external and internal customer.
Understanding and working in past organizations that have centralized and de-centralized structures as business requirements change.

Willingness to travel ~30% of the time.
