Senior Product Manager – Total Loss
One of our Global Retail Markets US Claim Product Lines is looking for a strong project manager and collaborative thought partner to drive continued improvement in our Total Loss claims handling. The Auto Physical Damage Product and Analytics team is looking for individuals who can quickly become a subject matter expert in a specific discipline, develop a compelling strategy to achieve operational excellence, translate those strategies into aggressive yet realistic action plans, and execute on those plans thoroughly.
This position can be in Boston, Plano or other APD Claims offices.
Owns, maintains, and drives the roadmap to operational excellence for GRM APD total loss claims handling with strong collaboration and input from key partners like the APD Field, Salvage, Support, and CAO.
Conceptualizes immediate and long-range needs of the APD operation with respect to strategic goals and the road map to translate them into comprehensive projects with defined objectives and outcomes.
Collaborates with the field and analytics to collect data, map critical processes, and evaluate claims strategic initiatives for total loss claims.Summarizes results, identifies opportunities for efficiencies and improvements, prioritizes any project needs against existing portfolio, makes recommendations and communicates key messages to senior management.
Negotiates project objectives and direction with key stakeholders including but not limited to the Manager of APD Product and Analytics, APD Field Managers, Technology teams, etc.; develops measurable targets with assistance from Analytics Teams to track progress of project.
Looked to as the subject matter expert on all things related to total loss claims handling, including owning the standard work, coordinating updates to state tools, addressing regulatory issues, serving as process expert in certain legal matters, etc.
Prepares presentations and report outs for senior leaders regarding project status and keeps them informed of project direction and re-negotiates direction as necessary through clear and concise communications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training required.
Master’s degree and CPCU a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience required; experience within the P&C industry and claims operations a plus.
Proven track record of project management, execution, and problem solving skills.
Must have very strong communication skills and presentation building ability.
