Animal Emergency Medical Center of New England is looking for a full-time emergency veterinarian to join our 24-HR emergency and referral practice in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Our practice is located within a 24-HR veterinary hospital that includes a growing specialty practice and on-site general practice.

Why Gate City Location is Ideal: Our practice is located approximately 35+ miles north of the city of Boston, Massachusetts and only two miles north of the Massachusetts border. Our Gate City location is further an hour away from the N.H. Lakes and Mountain Regions, and; the Maine Seacoast while conveniently located between two major airports, Boston Logan International Airport and the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (and only four hours away from New York City!). Not to mention that we are only 90 minutes away from Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard and 90+ minutes away from Newport, Rhode Island.

Exciting News about Us: We are currently completing updates to our 24,000 sq. ft. facility and recently welcomed our new practice management team that comes with 14+ years of experience in veterinary practice management. With our leadership team, we are currently updating our practice systems to further cement our doctor-first and client centric philosophy while with new cutting-edge digital practice systems.

Located in a picturesque facility that is designed as a quaint New England barn, our modern facility is fully equipped with a separate entrance for general practice clients and a gorgeous waiting room and accompanying exam rooms that together, provide a warm calming environment for our clients and patients to enjoy. Our veterinary hospital has three large surgery suites, one of which is specifically designed for our Board-Certified-Surgeon, as well as, a full dental suite/area and ultrasound room. Our diagnostic equipment includes digital radiology and ultrasound and we have full-service laboratory.

What We Need from You: We are looking for an internship-trained or experienced general practice veterinarian that is passionate about private practice and enjoys working with our clients and pets in creating memorable client experiences. A candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving skills, and possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Candidates must be a self-starter and a collaborative team member that appreciate working with our support staff and leadership team in providing our clients with a peace of mind and carrying out our reputation of being the premier leader of veterinary medicine excellence in the Southern New Hampshire/Northern Massachusetts regions and nationwide.

This unique distinction provides an associate veterinarian the option to assist in general practice and/or work alongside our Specialists but, still be a part of our general practice's long-standing tradition of providing both convenient and excellent veterinary medicine to our community of local neighborhoods.
