Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, date, record, and mark all inbound receipts.
- Stock inbound receipts in designated areas.
- Load on completed orders, load out trucks.
- Pick orders as needed based on workload.
- Assist in cycle counting, as needed.
- Ability to operate a floor scrubber, scissor lift, boom lift, stand-up forklift etc.
- Must be proficient in operating a yard hostler.
- Must follow all company safety requirements and GMP.
- Perform Yard checks Spot trailers for the Tank Yard
- Conduct periodic audits of the refrigerated trailers both on the yard and in dock doors.
- Report any refrigerated trailers with temperatures that rise above 36 degrees for over 30 minutes.
- Report any malfunctions or problems with the yard truckers as soon as the problem is noticed.
- May be required to work on miscellaneous projects or perform other duties as required.
- Responsible for reporting any food safety and quality issues to management.
- Must adhere to all company policies, plant rules and safety regulations, complying with FDA, OSHA,
EPA and all other regulatory agencies
- Follow all company and regulatory safety guidelines in equipment operation.
- Employee must perform other duties as required or assigned as needed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must be trained and licensed to operator a Yard Spotter and forklift.
- CDL Required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Job requires walking, standing, twisting, bending, lifting, and use of stairs.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 33 to 90 degrees.
- Must be able to work overtime as required by business needs.
- Must be able to work weekends as required by business needs.
- Must have previous Yard Jockey experience.
