Responsibilities: - Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations - Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment - Safely secure vehicles to ensure they are stable during transportation - Drive to various locations to pick up and drop off vehicles as assigned - Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as jump-starting vehicles or changing tires - Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their satisfaction - Maintain accurate records of all services provided and complete necessary paperwork Skills: - Proficiency in operating a tow truck, including knowledge of flatbed and wheel-lift systems - Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles - Experience operating a forklift for loading and unloading purposes - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with customers or other drivers - Valid driver's license / Commercial CDL with a clean driving record - Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs and maintenance on tow trucks - Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and ability to use them effectively - Excellent customer service skills to provide assistance and support to stranded motorists Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
