The Boeing Company is seeking Early Career Manufacturing Engineer in support of the Boeing AvionX Team.

Position Responsibilities:
Integrates producibility and manufacturability knowledge, information and requirements into the acquire and define program phases as the designated Integrated Product Team (IPT) interface.
Defines, develops and implements the manufacturing plan and represents the program as the primary manufacturing integrator throughout the lifecycle, acquire, define, produce and support phases of the product life cycle.
Interfaces with Integrated Product Teams and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
The Engineer should have excellent communication skills to work across Boeing Global Engineering teams. The Engineer should have desire to work in all aspects of the life cycle development process.
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.

Typical Education/ Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology by June 2019
Education or work experience with CATIA or equivalent solid modeling experience
Experience using basic Microsoft office and office computing systems

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial engineering or engineering technology degrees
Academic project, relevant internship or work experience within manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering
Experience with machined parts details and assemblies
Experience with Costpoint, Microsoft Office, ProgeCAD in a harness manufacturing environment
