Acts as a supervisor of graduate students enrolled in practicum internship coursework and provide coaching, training, and support to those students across the span graduate coursework.
Completes daily documentation and other paperwork required by the BACB and the Teacher Training Institute (TTI) program, weekly progress and supervision monitoring of participating graduate students.
Communicates with TTI staff on a daily basis to ensure students are meeting requirements for practicum internship.
Attends treatment-planning, research, and all other relevant meetings as required.
Models professionalism in best -practice intervention activities, program design, records management, and assistance with training and supervision of graduate students who are completing the BACB Approved Course Sequence coursework.
Assists in the management and use of the distance-based technology used by the TTI, including fluency and expertise in online and distance-based supervision and data collection.
Collaborates with investigators on research questions related to the TTI, including assistance with data collection and analysis.
Provide Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervision to graduate students accumulating applied supervision hours to sit for board certification. Independently deliver BACB based supervision with minimal supervision from TTI faculty.
Observe and participate in behavior management and instructional programs for graduate students as needed.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst or eligible to sit for the BCBA exam or equivalent/related professional credential (e.g. Social Worker, Counselor, Psychologist, etc). Master’s degree in the field of Education or related field. Three years of experience in developing and supervising a learning and behavior management program for individuals with autism. Preferred Qualification: Experience in developing contracts with public schools and private pay facilities to provided BCBA services.
