The behavior specialist will support teachers and students in grades (2-5). They will collect data on students who need extra support with behaviors and help teachers create behavior plans. They will also conduct social skills groups with identified children. The behavior specialist will work closely with the person who is responsible for in school suspension. Other duties will include helping to coordinate our school-wide behavior committee and helping to create a positive incentive program for children. The behavior specialist must have a master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in exceptional student education.
