The Academic Records Coordinator provides front line service to students, faculty and staff involving academic records, registration, enrollment verifications, grades, and transcripts. This service-oriented position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, this candidate must have the ability to interpret, apply and clearly communicate academic policies and procedures.
Front-line service including form updates and distribution, answering incoming calls and email inquiries, interpretation and explanation of academic policies and procedures as they apply to individual circumstances, and referral to the appropriate departments as needed -25% of Time Responsibilities
Processes registrations, adds, drops and withdrawals for degree seeking students; including data entry, tracking, follow-up, and file maintenance -20% of Time Responsibilities
Processes transcripts -10% of Time Responsibilities
Assists with Commencement and Orientation -5 % of Time Responsibilities
Supports Associate Registrars and Assistant Registrar with special projects -15% of Time Responsibilities
Assist with Transfer Credit data entry -15% of Time Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned -10% of Time Responsibilities
1-2 years prior administrative experience, preferably in an academic environment.
Strong word processing and data entry skills, with attention to detail required.
Ability to work under pressure, and prioritize workload.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
Background in the arts
Two years administrative experience in academic environment
Ability to complete complicated projects
Proficiency in Datatel Colleague, Informer, Google Drive and Workday
