POSITION PURPOSE
Directs, oversees and establishes talent acquisition executive recruitment strategies for sourcing and connecting with active and passive executive talent for opportunities throughout Trinity Health. Represents Trinity Health and its ministries with expert knowledge of the strategic planning, culture and colleague value proposition. Provides effective guidance and communication with internal executive leadership team throughout the hiring and selection processes. Partners with the System Office executive leadership team, Ministry CHROs, Diversity and Inclusion, and HR Operations teams to develop innovative, strategic, and forward thinking talent acquisition recruitment plans to attract top talent Provide leadership to a Talent Acquisition team in the delivery effective and efficient services in support of strategic business needs. This position reports to the VP of Talent Acquisition and will work closely with Talent Management for alignment with internal succession planning prospects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Responsible for successfully applying a seasoned level of expertise in full lifecycle executive recruiting which includes, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, and closing candidate offers.

Oversees and develops and recruitment strategy and plan which identifies, and fosters relationships with prospective leadership candidates through targeted search efforts, passive outreach, social networking and referrals from internal and external sources. Sources and networks with candidates to support workforce planning initiatives and oversees the development and maintenance of an internal database of prospects through ATS.

Develops short- to long-term strategies and operational improvements for functional area or highly visible and complex program and project across multiple operating units ensuring alignment with System/RHM strategies and goals.

Accountable for performance of the department, projects and large-scale change initiatives impacting all or most RHMs. Responsible for decisions and managing risk that impact day-to-day functional area or program operations, with potential for a short- to mid-term impact on the organization as a whole. Strategic decisions at the functional-level require review and general oversight; practice and procedure decisions require limited oversight from the executive team.

Provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the work, priorities, and competencies of a team of Talent Acquisition managers and professionals. Provides expert knowledge of talent acquisition executive recruitment necessary to build and enhance team competencies.

Develops budget for overall function or overall functional operation. Manages (either direct-line or matrix) an annual budget for a number of direct reports.

Establishes and develops search strategies resulting from consultation with hiring executives and working with executive search firms that specialize and compliment the health care industry.

Leads, develops and communicates a talent acquisition recruitment strategy to stakeholders and drives accountability to execution. Serves as a subject matter expert and resource in functional area of focus.

Utilizes strong organizational acumen while keeping abreast of industry trends and applying such to enhanced talent acquisition executive recruitment practices and services.

Directs and oversees the executive recruitment process, which includes tracking and monitoring key performance indicators and metrics related to candidate pipelines and hiring.

Serves as technical resource by establishing a level of expertise to influence executive senior leadership on sourcing strategies and to ensure the most cost-effective methodology, tools and techniques are employed.

Provides managerial direction and leadership by establishing strategic plans and vision, prioritizing activities, developing effective coaching practices, implementing change management and continuous improvement solutions, establishing performance goal setting and management oversight and delivering effective and efficient problem resolution.

Provides consultation, guidance and specialized expertise to senior leadership in addressing executive recruitment needs, providing related problem resolution and developing innovative solutions. Leads large scale improvement and implementation initiatives within a function with substantial financial and/or organizational impact.

Oversees and conducts comprehensive pre-screening and behavioral-based interviews with viable candidates, which include a leadership assessment for final candidates. Manages critical and confidential communication with all viable candidates under consideration.

Participates and coordinates with Legal, Total Rewards, System CHRO and/or Regional CHROs to ensure that candidates are provided with information related to the positions (e.g., benefits, relocation eligibility, etc.) and that offer package(s) are created for selected candidates in accordance with organizational parameters.

Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of executive recruitment strategies, practices and procedures, as normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sales and Marketing or a related field, and a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively experience in talent acquisition with extensive responsibility of full life cycle recruiting experience of positions at a leadership and above level. Experience in a multi-site/location, multi-location business, and/or integrated health system experience highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience setting organizational wide strategy using innovative best practices in recruiting while linking to organizational workforce plans.

Must have highly effective interpersonal and communication skills with experience working with executive level candidates and internal organizational leaders.

Extensive experience in design and implementation of talent acquisition system in a large, decentralized environment.

Well-developed management and facilitation skills. Leads and inspires innovation. Overcomes resistance while preparing and supporting those affected by change. Demonstrated skill in coaching, counseling and collaborating, ability to inspire and build confidence in others and to forge alliances and garner support from diverse groups.

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills in order to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with all levels of management/leadership and staff along with effective vendor management experience. Ability to influence results and tactfully manage complex relationships and influences within and across the organization. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situations and react/plan accordingly.

Experience dealing with and influencing senior executives. Highly developed verbal and written communication, persuasion and negotiation skills in order to effectively identify and present services, assess organizational development opportunities, facilitate improvements, and present advisory, persuasive and authoritative recommendations to all levels of management.

Analytical ability to conceptualize well in unstructured, fast-paced, dynamic and multi-functional environments requiring creativity, innovation, foresight and mature professional judgment. Ability to think strategically and analytically about related HR functions, including impact on business, long-term ramifications, etc.

Project management skills including the ability to define scope, program, process or project objectives, identify business needs, stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and provide authoritative advice on coordinating and allocating human, technological and fiscal resources to accomplish goals and objectives in a resourceful and timely manner.

Proficiency in relevant software programs including Microsoft Office.

Expert interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with executive and management teams. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situations and react/plan accordingly.

Ability to support a change management and process improvement work environment. Seeks innovative ways to deliver higher value programs and services more efficiently and effective.

Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
