Boeing Global Real Estate (GRE) has a requirement for a transformational senior leader to join the GRE Leadership Team. This role will be responsible for leading a strategic planning team supporting the Boeing Corporate & Enterprise functions. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible to lead, manage, develop and motivate managers and employees; manage budget and long range business planning, promote a strong service and safety culture, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The successful candidate will require strong collaboration with corporate leaders, multiple business partners, Facilities & Asset Management teams at major operating sites, and other Enterprise Services functional groups.
This position is responsible for driving real estate transformation opportunities and supporting business growth projects. Leads strategic due diligence and drives aggressive real estate portfolio analysis to identify rooftop and footprint reduction opportunities on a global basis. Provides oversight & guidance to regional real estate teams to ensure alignment with business unit and GRE objectives. In collaboration with business Leadership, Support Functions and the GRE team, the position deploys space utilization best practices and project management rigor to deliver significant savings in ongoing real estate operating costs. Responsible to gain Sr. leadership approval on strategic direction and funding approvals for program execution.
Leads multi-disciplinary teams to develop and evaluate real estate alternatives against financial and operational parameters. Challenges space utilization assumptions using industry benchmarks and best-practices. Ensures consistent deployment of Boeing workplace standard. Establishes robust steering team structures to ensure visibility on budget, schedule and risks for critical projects.
Takes action as necessary to ensure business unit and GRE objectives are achieved as defined by AOP and key performance indicators. Able to articulate a point of view as necessary to constructively challenge ideas and demands
Leads analysis supporting development of LRBP and AOP targets. Includes, but not limited to: Real Estate LRBP Footprint Impact, Building Lease & Rental AOP, Real Estate AOP Key Performance Indicators (annualized save, cash, rooftops, and footprint)
Critically analyzes real estate requirements and liaisons with business unit leadership to validate head-count growth plans to ensure efficient deployment of capital and controls of fixed cost structure
