As a core member of Kantar Consulting’s client-facing team, Consultants have two primary responsibilities: managing and growing 6-8 ongoing client relationships, and managing a series of discrete projects. Consultants are effective team members who can understand client needs, synthesize and interpret data and other inputs, provide meaningful advice and recommendations, work across multiple disciplines, help manage engagements, and also support new business development efforts. The most successful Consultants utilize a strong mix of analytical rigor and creative thinking to convey complex knowledge in simple and intuitive ways. The ideal candidate will understand trends—social, technological, economic, environmental, category and consumer and distill them into critical, actionable insights for our clients. We are therefore looking for someone who can take research, data, facts, and numbers and bring them life; after all, our job is to help our clients switch on growth.


Gain expert knowledge of proprietary Kantar Consulting research assets, which are leveraged and deployed to aid in answering client questions about their business growth needs
Have facility in delivering in person and webinar-style presentations to clients
Gain trusted advisor status that maintains and grows client relationships
Work with senior managers in the delivery of client engagements and associated outputs, supporting the team in day-to-day client management, project management and the development of high-quality client deliverables with the opportunity to lead one or more aspects of individual engagements
Develop and work with the team to establish future-facing insights, implications and recommendations
Support the team in the generation of new business, including the uncovering and understanding of client needs, proposal development, and new business presentations
Distill quantitative and qualitative insights and data into strategic implications (e.g., for corporate strategy, category / product strategy, pipeline innovation, marketing communications, brand strategy / positioning, segment profiles, target identification, etc.)
Contribute to our proprietary knowledge base by identifying emerging marketplace shifts and their application to our clients' business issues
Assist in planning, organizing and executing client workshops/meetings
Lead several smaller projects ensuring deliverables in a timely manner while understanding budget management and resource management

BS/BA degree, preferably in the social sciences or related disciplines; graduate degree a plus but not required
3+ years of experience in consulting, marketing or related fields
Superior written and oral communication skills with a creative approach to story-telling and visual presentation of information
Strong analytic skills, with an ability to synthesize and translate data (soft and hard) from primary research and other sources into a cohesive and compelling storyline
Ability to think strategically and work in teams to support the development of insights, implications and recommendations for our clients
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills—attention to detail is a must
Ability to develop deep relationships with both colleagues and clients at all levels of an organization
Knowledge of consumers, consumer trends, and macro (e.g., technological, economic, regulatory, social drivers) trends
Familiarity and comfort with analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, as well as other forms of more observational insight
