Position Summary: Designs and implements the organization's compensation programs following established standards and policies so these programs are administered effectively and in accordance with the organization's reward strategy. Responsible for job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analyze compensation surveys and obtain all necessary information to prepare compensation proposal and recommendations. Collect data about company's Compensation policies and analyze them to prepare reports and advise managers for making important decisions. Participate in compensation surveys. Identifies and addresses compensation issues and assesses jobs, reviews job descriptions and uses market data to prepare job evaluations for various business areas of the company.
Responsible for management and administration of the Executive Incentive Bonus Plan (EIB), the Corporate Incentive Bonus Plan (CIB) and the quarterly Operations Incentive Bonus Plan (OIB) plus other custom incentive plans administered and managed by corporate compensation. Maintains eligibility files, prepares pay summary files for approval, works with payroll to process incentive plan awards and assists in the development of plan documents and other incentive plan communication materials.
May coach or instruct lower level colleagues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and internal customers with accurate and timely reporting information, gathers market data for external equity and internal equity and compensation analyses.
Participates in compensation surveys to make recommendations to the company’s total compensation programs and competitive position. Conducts cost impact of recommended adjustments to salary structures and pay structures.
Conducts market study analysis and provide data to support reviews and recommendations for salary actions.
Analyzes and evaluate new and existing jobs and job descriptions to determine appropriate market rate, grade assignment, FLSA status and alignment within internal structure.
Accountable for the standardization and documentation of compensation procedures and practices through the Practical Guide to Compensation Tool Kit material
Conducts periodic PG2C training to HR team members.
Manages the ongoing administration of compensation programs and practices.
Oversees the management and maintenance of the global job descriptions inventory and job families to ensure current descriptions are on file; Ensures inactive Job Descriptions (JDs) are moved to inactive folders for retention. Conducts periodic audits of JDs and Job Family Book inventory and ensures master job title file is updated with the appropriate audit documentation.
Maintain active and archived job description files.
Oversees that all compensation data repositories (SharePoint, Intranet etc.) are updated and maintained on a regular basis.
Provides input on salary survey selection and job matching, compiles data for survey submissions, and submits data by the survey deadline.
Oversees the development and delivery of compensation-related materials during the annual SMR (salary merit review) process.
Answers questions about policies and procedures
Oversees the maintenance of the HRIS database to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Manages the compensation portion of the RFC process for new position codes.
Ensures that STARTEK is compliant with employment law.

May act as a backup for the administration of the employee stock purchase program (ESPP), which includes but is not limited to:
administering the company stock records and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan and equity issuance; entering and maintaining equity records in vendor system; ensuring accuracy and compliance to stock accounting rules; partnering with Accounting and vendor as needed to obtain records and create reports; preparing stock option certificates and maintain files for compliance; providing customer service to employees and distributing employee communications.
Administering other stock award programs such as stock option grants, ensuring proper tracking.
May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
At least two (2) years compensation experience required.
Education and/or formal training:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience working with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
HR certification and/or CCP preferred.
