Job Summary

Manages the day to day operations of FIU embrace that includes financial data, implementing strategic plans, representing department head in meeting and conferences, and conducts presentations regarding FIU Embrace.

Manages financial data and information for the unit or department.
Implements and elevates the strategic plan for the department as needed.
Reviews, resolves, and responds to request for information, data, services, complaints etc. Manages information to faculty and staff regarding operational activities including the appropriateness of expenditures, contract or grant requirements, and changes in policies and procedures.
Supervises and coordinates work of designated employees.
Represents department head in meetings and conferences and other affairs of an administrative nature.
Prepares reports and analysis to include financial reports, setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Provide support to the External Advisory and Internal Executive Council and all committees associated with FIU Embrace.
Complete all minutes for council and committee meetings.
Ensure that all documents for council and committee meetings are available for distribution at least one week prior to the meeting.
Conduct presentations regarding FIU Embrace to community stakeholders, providers, individuals and family members
Assist in the execution and tracking of agreements and or MOUs
Coordinates travel arrangements including: Airline, hotel and car rental reservations. Prepares TAR and travel reimbursements for the department staff.
Responsible for ordering equipment.
Serves and the department P-Card holder and process monthly reconciliation´s for the department credit card purchases.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field and four (4) years related business or administrative experience, or Master's degree in business or related field and two (2) years related business or administrative experience.

Desired Qualifications

Supervisory experience.
