Job Summary

Cole Industrial is looking for Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is self-driven and looking to join an exciting and growing company. This position will focus on supporting the sales team and lead the marketing for the company.

Skills and Abilities

  • One to two years of administrative and customer service experience required
  • A minimum of two years marketing experience
  • Excellent customer service and professional phone skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and aptitude for learning new software
  • Excellent typing skills with high attention to detail (50+wpm)
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude and demonstrated teamwork
  • Previous sales support experience preferred
  • Strong Marketing skills (helping/understanding customer needs, prompt follow up, etc.)
  • Able to work effective under pressure and with deadlines
  • Take ownership and be pro-active in finding new ways to meet the goal

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide administrative support to Sales Team including:
  • Assemble proposal presentations
  • Assist with coordination and arrangement of presentation details (lunch orders, PowerPoint projector, etc.)
  • Assist with coordinating company events (Golf Tournaments, Christmas Parties, etc.) * Support the sales and marketing with their daily activities and reports
  • Be able to prioritize and balance the needs/requests of our 5+ Account Managers
  • Work with the marketing team on developing new strategies to reach potential sales
  • Communicate with current clients to maintain positive relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Complete sales reports and analyses
  • General office support (data entry, photocopying, faxing, etc.)
  • Prepare presentation materials & binders for Engineer visits
  • Qualify Sales Leads (via Dodge Report, or other means), send them to appropriate Account Manager
  • Download, printout, & save electronically to quote folders - Plans and Specs
  • Follow up as needed with changing details to a bid, such as bid date change, Addendums, etc
  • Prepare Scope letters prior to sending out proposals
  • Keep Mechanical Contractors informed as to what jobs Cole is bidding.
  • Prepare "Pre-Submittal Packets" as required on specific bids
  • Obtain Bidders lists and Qualify bidders for specific jobs we're bidding
  • Email/fax quotes out on bid day, to the pre-qualified bidders
  • Field incoming calls for Account Managers when they're out of the office
  • Type up & format proposals as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related sales & marketing experience (Required)
