Job Description
Read, understand and perform instructions from the Job Ticket and set up or direct the setup of the press based on instructions.
Notify Converting Packaging Lead when instructions are unclear and verifies all components are available and appropriate for current job.
Make necessary adjustments to job ticket specs.
Obtain sign offs from Converting Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor prior to producing a job.
Ensure production orders are run in an accurate, time efficient manner to comply with priority needs.
Maintain open communication with Converting Packaging Lead and necessary departments to ensure proper processing of production order.
Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
Notify Converting Packaging Lead of any substandard equipment or nonconformities.
Log all press-related times/footage into MIS.
Perform and document necessary quality inspection(s).
Overtime Authorization and Requirement - Unauthorized approval in advance of working overtime and repeated refusal to work overtime are violations of company policy.
