Sr. Manager, Data Analytics and Customer Insights
The Manager of Data Analytics & Customer Insights will be responsible for overseeing analytics, data intelligence, research, and consumer insights for the Customer Journey Management team. He/She will work closely across various functions and business within TE to develop and execute customer and competitive analyses which will influence key decisions for the strategic direction and execution of the CJM team. This individual will lead the effort for identifying, leveraging, and integrating various 1st and 3rd party data sources to be able to identify and create a deeper understanding of key insights both externally with customer behaviors and internally for key functions such as customer care, inside sales, and marketing.
What you will be doing:
As a Manager, Data Analytics and Customer Insights, a typical day may include:
Develop a strong foundation of predictive, prescriptive recommendation models around our products, pricing, customers and operations that will drive organic growth.
Contribute to the design and deploy big data and advanced analytics to strengthen TE’s go to market capabilities and provide long term competitive advantage.
Partner with inside sales, customer care, and operations teams to develop quantitative models and analyze business hypotheses, informing data driven decisions to optimize and increase productivity
Develop frameworks and conduct robust analyses to deepen TE’s understanding of customer behavior across sales and marketing channels
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of customer segmentation strategies and marketing investments to deliver actionable customer-led insights that drive growth
Leverage and integrate disparate data sources including 1st party, 2nd party and 3rd party data, surveys, and voice of customer data
What your background should look like:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s degree preferred) in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering, Business, Statistics or Math from a leading institution
5 - 10 years of experience working in an analytical role, ideally driving growth and/or developing customer insights
Good analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with data mining and visualization tools such as Python | R | Tableau | AWS
Experience w/ Cognos and Business Objects a plus
Strong understanding of analytics process - strategy, tracking, reporting, analysis, actionable recommendations.
Proven track record of leveraging large amounts of customer data to isolate key trends and business opportunities / leading a data science team is a plus
Experience with designing, executing and analyzing customer surveys / voice of customer data
