General Description:
Legacy Alaska Funeral Homes is looking for a remote, part-time data entry specialist to obtain and update information into different databases and computer systems. You will be working remotely and communicating with our funeral directors and other team members to ensure correct information is inputted and submitted. You will also be required to contact doctor’s offices and decedents family members to verify information as needed. The company will rely on you having accurate and detailed information entered into multiple computer software programs.
Pay is $18-20 an hour
This is a part-time position with 25-35 hours a week with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Transfer data from paper formats into database systems
Communicate daily with funeral directors and team members
Call doctor offices or decedents family members to verify information as needed
Update spreadsheets without mistakes
Verify and double check all information inputted
Scan documents and print files as needed
Keep all information confidential
Requirements:
Must have a computer with a scanner, a printer, and reliable internet connection.
Fast typing skills
Working knowledge of office equipment
Great attention to detail and organized
Comfortable on the phone
Once trained, an expected accuracy rate of 99% is required. High attention to detail is necessary.
