Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Support position will provide back-up support to the IT Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES-DUTIES

  • Assist staff with troubleshooting technology including software, hardware and connectivity related issues.
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining Information technology related policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and IT security vendors.
  • Take ownership of technical issues from initial report to final resolution.
  • Manage IT inventory, from hardware assets to software licenses.
  • Obtain quotes from third party vendors for hardware, software and IT services as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Proficient project management skills to deliver on deadlines
  • Experience gathering data, analysis, research and presenting useful information
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, handy mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and routinely handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate in an effective and appropriate manner.
  • Ability to perform administrative work involving independent judgment, accuracy and speed with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • A team player willing to change as the job changes
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday
