Walker Pro Motorsport is a automotive racing fabrication shop located in Austin, Tx. Specializing in building custom performance parts for multiple types of racing and high performance cars.
WPM is looking for applicants with 5yrs + experience in industry proficient in the types of fabrication, welding and associated processes when building motorsport parts. WPM is a custom part and low volume shop, applicants should expect every job to be different and to to be completed without drawings.
Required Skillsets:
-Proficient in TIG welding aluminum, chromoly and stainless steels.
-Proficient in custom layout and familiar with motorsport industry practices for tube work.
-Familiar with Sanctioning body rulebooks and best practices for motorsport roll cage and safety equipment fabrication and installs.
-Familiar with MIG welding, (not a core process)
-Light Mechanical Ability, install and removal of existing and built parts.
-A portfolio of work and references will be required.'
