VICTRA - Raleigh, NC

Seeking a nimble corporate generalist adept in transactional matters with strong business acumen to draft and negotiate vendor contracts and commercial real estate leases. If you fit that description and want to join a robust culture of performance, integrity, collaboration, innovation, and the hearty celebration of wild success, please keep reading.

We are a dynamic cross-functional team that serves as a trusted business partner to over 7,500 outstanding colleagues at Verizon's largest premium U.S. retailer. Your work will encompass all aspects of the in-house legal function, with a focus on drafting and negotiation of commercial real estate documents and vendor contracts. Strong personalities are welcome and encouraged so long as humility, servant leadership, and an ownership mindset dominate your DNA. We want intellectually-curious, entrepreneurial professionals who enjoy being outside their comfort zones, thrive amidst change, and obsessively conspire for one-another's success.

This career reports directly to the General Counsel, who will actively help develop your skill set across the spectrum of legal and business issues vital to the company, most of which should interest you. Our team members are expected to provide bad news early along with practical, evidence-based, business-minded solutions. Victra is not your typical wireless retailer, and as such we're not your typical Legal Department - our North Star is to empower Victra's business through proactive, efficient, and practical counsel. In point of fact, each teammate literally has a company-issued "YES!" button on their desk.

You will have a nice office with both a window and door in our Raleigh, North Carolina headquarters, where free above-average coffee is provided daily, and decent swag is occasionally distributed on a basis not at all commensurate with experience. Our base pay is competitive, benefits are excellent, and there is an opportunity for a bonus based on individual and corporate performance. To facilitate attorney development and maximize effectiveness we utilize Practical Law Company, provide a subscription to West "LegalEdcenter" CLE, and pay annual membership fees for one state bar. Jeans may be worn on Fridays without having to make a donation of any kind, and you get to root for the ACC team of your choosing.

We love what we do and are excited about our future as a team and as a company. If you've read this far there's a good chance we're a good fit, and we hope to hear from you!
