Assisting the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the operations of the building and grounds maintenance department.
Handle special projects and help to manage and oversee unit maintenance and repairs to include those needed by outside contractors
Communicate with other departments based (i.e. front desk/ housekeeping) on various issues
Insure over all quality and timeliness of maintenance performed both in-house as well as by contracted services.
Ensure compliance of the preventative maintenance procedures within units and building systems.
Assist other maintenance technicians as requested
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be experienced in the repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, structural
repair and appliance repair.
Must have good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to work independently at times
Preference for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing certified
Must have flexible hours, available to work evenings, weekends most times with advance notice
CPO certification preferred - will be required within 6 months
Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs or more
Extensive lifting of supplies or equipment, walking, reaching, climbing, bending
