This is an entry-level position and is subject to the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement (AFSCME).
Work hours vary: 37.5 hours/week - 7 day a week operation. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and all shifts as required by Park Management.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Working as a Semi-Skilled Laborer at Delaware Canal State Park involves working alone or assisting other skilled workers in the performance of routine maintenance and construction tasks. The position will make repairs to buildings and facilities by using tools of the carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other building trades. The position will operate and assist in the maintenance and care of vehicles and equipment in use at the, park, perform ground maintenance, and complete other general housekeeping and building maintenance tasks as assigned.
