Full Job Description
CACI provides a variety of IT services through IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. We support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Departmentwide IT capabilities.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Interns may shadow team members across different functional areas (e.g., IT Operations, Security Operations Center, Help Desk, Risk Management, Project Management, Network Engineering, etc.).
Sample responsibilities may include:
Monitor and test IT systems for vulnerabilities and indications of compromise, incident response and remediation
Develop appropriate policy, relevant user security awareness and training, and compliance review with applicable government and other external standards
Analyze and evaluate anomalous network and system activity
Work with teams to implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access
Consult with support teams, help desks, customers and other technical staff in the resolution of problems
Coordinate and perform operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers.
Identify recurring problems and recommend steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems
Operate, monitor, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices and services
Deliver professional, high quality services directly to the customer, including remote support
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
College student pursuing a BA/BS degree, with minimum 1-year related course work/experience
Typically majoring in Business, Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or similar program
Clear communication, ability to be agile and prioritize demands in a fast-paced environment
Driven, can do attitude and enjoys a collaborative working environment
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (i.e., Windows, Azure, VMWare, SCCM)
Aptitude for technical support for end user devices hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices)
SharePoint, Excel and Microsoft Office skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience supporting a DHS contract
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
