About the Role

The Reporting Business Analyst helps steward the design, development, and implementation of client-facing reporting and internal client operations reporting. The Reporting Business Analyst will focus on designing and executing scalable, user-friendly and actionable reporting products that help Vixxo’s customers evaluate and manage the health of their Facility Management (FM) program. The Reporting Business Analyst will also focus on designing and executing internal client operations reporting that enables proactive and superior service delivery to Vixxo’s clients. This role collaborates extensively with stakeholders across the organization to gather business requirements, document functional specifications, develop solutions and lead user testing and training.

Essential functions:
Gather and document stakeholder business requirements and design, develop and implement effective and standardized reporting solutions to meet role-based needs for business data
Oversee dashboarding and reporting project work through all development stages, including user testing and deployment
Liaison with Analytics, Operations, IT, Account teams and Data Governance to ensure the correct business logic is reflected in all reporting and analyses
Build and maintain user guides and sales enablement materials. Lead user training sessions.
Observe current reporting processes, recommend future reporting processes based on best practices and lead the execution of such change for business process improvement efforts
Research business processes and practices to inform report design and functional and data specifications.
Communicate objectives and statuses of projects to the relevant stakeholders during the project lifecycle, including change orders, status updates, project plans, significant issues, and timelines
Work directly with a team of developers, facilitate daily development standups and manage change logs and new user story prioritization.
About You

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, computer science, or another related field required
4+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or business process improvement role
Working knowledge of, and experience with process improvement best practices and business analysis methodologies
Highly motivated and organized, with keen attention to detail and superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
Possesses strong business acumen and project management skills
Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements for technology implementations
Experience in driving complex end-to-end business process and technology projects
Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
Experience with SQL and MS Excel, in order to manipulate and validate data
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence software preferred (SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Communicates effectively across multiple stakeholders, including team members, end users, and management
Able to understand and investigate topics related to multiple business areas
Effectively prioritizes work and keeps stakeholders informed of progress in a timely manner
Excels at breaking down complex problems and projects into manageable goals
Adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
