Bruno PC in Plymouth is looking for a Tax Supervisor/Manager. We aren’t your ordinary accounting firm. Having recently moved to a new business model, we are seeing lots of growth and opportunity. We don’t just do taxes. We are a Next Generation Accounting Firm that works with our clients year round to make sure they stay financially healthy between tax seasons. This is creating an amazing experience for our staff as well as our clients.

In this position, you will be the lead tax person in the company, managing the quality of the tax work, leading day to day engagements, and being a leader in the processes of bringing new clients onboard.

The work will entail senior level tax review and some preparation of individual, partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, trust & gift returns, as well as review and some preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements. You should possess a high degree of independent thinking and be able to communicate well with company employees and clients. This position also requires a high degree of problem solving, due diligence, and decision making in reviewing the firm’s work product. Working in a team environment and supervising staff are key qualities.

Ideal qualifications are:

  • CPA /CPA candidate with 10 years’ public accounting experience. MST a plus.
  • Experience with CIRA’s and real estate a plus
  • Ability to respond to communications from the IRS and other taxing authorities
  • Utilize research tools to determine proper tax and financial treatment of a variety of client transactions
  • Provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Possess excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently at a fast pace and exercise discretion and personal judgment
  • Ability to meet with potential clients to identify needs and opportunities
  • Strong technical expertise, objectivity and unquestioned integrity
