Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

This position will provide operational support to both the Institutional and Retail Equity Syndicate desks, as well as the Special Equities Desk.

Key responsibilities include:
Creation of syndicate offerings on both Institutional and Retail syndicate platforms
Process syndicate trades, as well as retail trade corrections and cover Retail Financial Advisors syndicate trade errors
Reconcile and balance all trading accounts
Help reconcile institutional orders on joint book deals

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of capital markets industry experience

Desired Qualifications

Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Other Desired Qualifications
5+ years equity operations experience.
Full understanding of the following internal systems is required: BETA, Phase 3, Brass, Wisdom
Ability to maintain strong relationships with the following groups to ensure that the daily functions are completed in an accurate & timely manner: Front Office (Sales & Trading), Middle Office, (Trading Floor Support), Syndicate Operations, Finance, Clearance, Settlements, Products Support, Client Support, Legal & Compliance
