*Job Summary*
We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Specialist will be a critical member of the safety team and will visit work sites to perform safety inspections, assist with safety training and provide compliance support.
*Responsibilities*
· Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
· Perform regular inspections, audits, and assessments at all CMS work sites as directed.
· Provide training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct new hire safety training and annual safety trainings as needed.
· Promote a positive culture of safety among all team members.
*Requirements*
· 2-5 years work experience in EHS roles in industrial contracting or related field
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred but not required
· Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar are preferred.
· Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
