The IT Auditor is responsible for performing assurance and consulting services and audits of information systems and IT work processes in a dynamic and rapidly evolving IT environment, and for helping the Company accomplish its objectives by evaluating and improving risk management, control, and governance processes.

Learns and supports management to create, control and successfully use leading technology to accomplish IT and Company business goals.
Analyzes how retail and Company processes and the IT environment operate; Documents an understanding of risks and controls in IT systems and programs
Evaluates risks and internal controls and works with the IT Audit Manager to identify the audit procedures required to test the effectiveness of IT processes and controls; Assists the rest of the Internal Audit Team with IT audit expertise on financial and operational audits as needed.
Compiles and evaluates information though inquiry, tests, analyses, and observations to develop conclusions about risks and the operating effectiveness of work processes and controls.
Works with IT and business leaders to identify how to improve work processes, strengthen controls, and reduce risks.
Assists with the plan, design, and execution of audit procedures necessary to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including testing of IT general controls, system development life cycle controls, and other IT related areas such as automated business process controls
Prepares working papers to document the information obtained, analyses made, and support for audit conclusions.
Champions IT process improvements; Assists the IT Audit Manager with writing audit reports and discussing with management the audit results and any recommendations.
Experience: At least one year of audit work experience or two years of information technology work experience

Education: Bachelor degree or higher

Knowledge of information technology processes, risks and controls
Skilled in relating to all kinds of people and fostering positive work relationships; Strong speaking and written communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled with gathering, documenting and evaluating information to develop conclusions
Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using database software
