Full Job Description
Execute recruitment initiatives to touch at least 1,000 of disengaged youth in the funding year • Educate consumers about the importance of financial literacy and workforce and post-secondary education • Foster relationships with community organizations to collect information about opportunities for community-based learning • Make outbound calls to students based on the call campaign. • Become familiar with call reporting form and admissions next steps • Follow-up with students who ask additional questions or require a "hand-off" to other CSU units, • Draft emails to assigned students either before or after the call (based on campaign). • Seek to expand knowledge of CSU academic and admissions policies to counsel students within their area of interest and provide correct information. • Attend weekly huddle to discuss strategy, messaging, and communication for the week. • Identify, design and publicize workshops and training to engage youth ages 16-24 • Document and maintain records for travel, program services, and referrals • Perform other duties assigned by the Program Director or Staff
Member Duties : Primary focus on facilitating information sessions for incoming First-Time Freshmen (ages 16-24) and conducting outreach activities (outbound calls and emails) to assist students in the next stage of their admissions and enrollment process and provide workshops plan events within the Division of Student Affairs.
