Responsible for purchasing and managing spend in the Transportation and Warehousing Category within the Kraft Heinz Logistics Procurement organization
Estimated annual spend managed is $150-200 MM across 107+ sites and over 40 suppliers
Lead and facilitate the strategic sourcing process for the Manufacturing and Logistics categories through market and industry analysis, supplier research and review, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing events, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation
Identify waste in the Supply chain and figure out creative solutions on eliminating it
Category strategy development and ongoing category management as a result of sourcing activities to ensure the most effective supply base design
Responsible for the delivery of specific productivity and cash flow targets in alignment with overarching goals and objectives, with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Financial planning and budget setting as related to respective spend areas
Manage various transactional activities as related to systems and process
Establish trust and build effective business relationships with vendors for short and long term partnership
History of setting and over-delivering against clear goals
Background/experience in Supply Chain
Experience in a global organization
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, including Senior leaders
Experience in contracts and negotiating with vendors
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
Negotiator and an influencer
Strong business and financial acumen and have managed a budget previously
Ability to multitask and juggle projects at varying levels of complexity
Strong Excel skills and have developed compelling presentations
