Job Summary
Responsible for the administration of variable pay incentive plan calculations for a Division in compliance with Company processes and procedures. This includes complex plan modeling, forecasting, trend analysis and building complex formula for incentive calculation. Conducts and leads internal audits, SOX audits, due diligence, fraud investigations and special projects.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare monthly incentive calculations for all incentive plans
  • Perform monthly incentive payment reconciliations
  • Develop incentive and commission projections during annual budget process
  • Build complex excel formula to calculate incentive payments
  • Work with reporting team/IT to ensure the integrity of the reports use for the incentive calculation
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, develop models for analysis of various plan design options, and calculate and analyze incentive payout projections
  • Plan and model commission expense in collaboration with Sales executives, Finance and Corporate Compensation
  • Perform financial analysis to determine financial impact and success of plans
  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of incentive plans and provide guidance and analysis to corporate and sales channel leadership
  • Forecast quarterly and annual commission/bonus program expense
  • Provide quota attainment reporting to sales management and sales agents
  • Conduct regular audits for plan compliance
  • Performs general ad hoc analysis of financial and operational data for trends and variances and present findings to finance management
  • Uses historical trend information along with changes in market and business environments to create projections used for the budgeting or forecasting processes
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a financial/accounting/database/MIS capacity
  • Finance & Accounting – experience in finance, economic, and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, financial statements, and valuation, analysis and reporting of financial data
  • MIS/Database – ability to combine data from different sources/systems
  • Mathematics & Analytics – ability to understand, manipulate and solve problems using mathematics on large data sets
  • Computer Skills – advanced knowledge Excel is required. Knowledge in SQL and VBA is a plus
  • Problem Solving – identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Organizing, Planning & Prioritizing Work – developing specific goals and execution plans for the completion of tasks
  • Good Communication Skills – both written and verbal
  • Critical Thinking – use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Judgment & Decision Making – consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose most appropriate course of action
