Instrumentation Technician

Full-time | Part-time | Contract

WANTED: Field Instrumentation Technician, ideally with broad experience in water / wastewater or treatment process systems and instrumentation. Duties will include installation of new systems, regular/ scheduled maintenance for existing systems, and troubleshooting / field repairs as needed. All work will be coordinated from our central office and fully supported by our in-house engineering and sales teams.

For the right candidates, this position can be flexibly configured to be a full-time, part-time or even hourly basis to meet your specific needs. Experienced persons seeking part-time work, including semi-retired persons, are highly encouraged to apply. Location, hours, and structure of the position is highly flexible but you must be able to travel to project sites within an assigned area.


We're a 15 year old North-American based manufacturer of high-end water and wastewater process instrumentation. Our systems have been installed at thousands of locations around the US and around the world. Since launching our newest line of advanced water quality monitoring systems 2-3 years ago, the need for customer support has grown tremendously. We are looking for experienced self-starters to help support our in-house engineering, sales and marketing teams.


We're looking for experienced filed technicians, especially those familiar with both municipal and /or industrial water and wastewater treatment process systems. Our ideal candidate

-Full Time / Part-Time / or Hourly Contract - up to you.

-Ideally suited for semi-retired water / wastewater treatment operators looking for a way to put their experience to use.

-3+ years experience with process water, wastewater, or other online process control technology. More experience is better.

-Strong computer and/or PLC skills will move you to the top of the list.

-Reliable, disciplined self-starter who can comfortably work alone or with other to perform work in the field.

-Superstar troubleshooter with a can-do attitude and commitment to solve problems and deliver solutions in the field.

-Must be able to work and travel in the US or at least within an assigned territory.

-Frequent overnight travel may be required. All travel expenses (travel, meals, lodging) will be approved and reimbursed.

-Must have own reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement. Vehicle may be available for full-time employees.

-Must have own basic hand and power tools to perform field service.

-Professional appearance with good interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer stills (email, word processing, spreadsheets, CRM, etc) also required.
