What you’ll be doing...
As a Senior Manager you’ll design, develop and modernize network systems platform that manages access network, carrier relationship, address and telephone number repository across 200+ countries. This platform does intelligent route and cost optimization, creates sales opportunities for enterprise customers, and designs transport and data network to enable Verizon's telecommunication product offerings.
You’ll plan, organize, monitor and oversee all aspects of the application development for all of the platform components. Individual will lead a team of application developers and subject matter experts to provide an exceptional end product for each of its customers. You’ll provide comprehensive consultation to business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level. Individual will drive new data insights while using advanced AI/ML techniques.
Drive thought leadership with cross-functional team to manage effective relationship with communication providers, to create revenue opportunities, to generate edge in enterprise business as Verizon embarks on strategic product and network rollout.
Assess business demand, team effectiveness and progress to ensure optimal delivery model and timely completion of projects.
Manage aspirations of team members to help them achieve personal growth.
Manage performance of employees by setting objectives, evaluating performance and providing micro feedbacks in regular interval.
Provide architectural oversight for the platform, products and services.
Promote and Implement Agile delivery model across the ecosystem.
Build strong partnerships and networks with external stakeholders.
Promote and contribute to Verizon’s shared success and corporate responsibility efforts.
Understand how team strategy aligns with Verizon strategy.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Work experience in Software Engineering principles and telecommunication concepts.
Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Even better if you have:
Delivered sustainable program and engaged in development in system.
Experience in DevSecOps software development and implemented projects in agile framework using Ansible Tools.
Experience in migrating web applications to Cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud or Cloud Foundry).
Industry experience in Network Technology and its evolution.
Hands on experience in triaging/handling challenging customer and end user requests.
Hands on experience in performing application tuning, scalability and availability.
Knowledge and experience in Docker/Container technologies.
Knowledge of Data Analytics and Machine Learning Technologies.
Strong managerial and technical leadership capabilities.
Track record of leadership across multiple teams that consistently deliver complex tools, with zero defects and doing what it takes to make the committed schedule.
Knowledge of Spring framework, Micro service architecture.
