Job Title: Ticket Services Assistant Status: Internship

Job Summary:
Provide high level service and assistance to all operations related to the Ticket Department, Premium Services and Special Events

Essential Functions:
  • Extend exceptional customer service to all Indians customers and employees
  • Service Full Season, Mini Season, Suite & Group Ticket accounts
  • Execute daily ticket sales from point-of-sale terminals
  • Provide strong support for ticket sales team while partnering with ticket sales executives such as generation leads and outbound calls
  • Coordinate special ticket programs and events
  • Count and reconcile daily money deposits
  • Maintain accurate database files and customer information utilizing ticketing database
  • Service inbound customer phone calls and ticket orders
  • Recognize opportunities to enhance revenue and customer experiences
Other Duties:
  • Assist head groundskeeper with occasional field maintenance including pulling tarp and clearing fireworks
  • Participate in pocket schedule delivery and distribution around Marion County
  • Represent the Indians at various community outreach events
  • Assist or coordinate occasional special events at Victory Field
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or currently enrolled in a college/university
Previous experience in a sports environment preferred

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to work up to 14 hours per day, up to 100 hours per week (in-season)

Dates: January 2019 – September 15, 2019
Hours: 40+ hours per week in addition to all home games
Compensation: $800/month plus housing assistance; $900/month without housing assistance
