Please take a moment to review this opportunity and join our team!
Meet Miller EMS
Miller EMS is more than your typical ambulance service and patient transfer provider. We are the largest, and most diverse, Oklahoma based provider of private EMS and pre-hospital healthcare logistics. In addition to field EMS response, we operate the Oklahoma trauma referral center and maintain a contract to provide in-flight paramedics for a federal prisoner transport system. We are active in both inter-facility transports and pre-hospital response with ten 911 contracts across the state.
Balance your home and work life- We insist!
Miller EMS provides one of the most competitive pay rates in the region, contributing to a healthy work/home-life balance. For example, a team member can realistically expect to make a living without having to pick up extra shifts or part-time jobs to make ends meet. Additionally, improvements in the system are allowing more liberal use of paid-time-off and sick leave essential, for example, to those raising a family to ensure they can spend time with loved ones and maintain a healthy home.
Take care of YOU!
Miller EMS offers the most when it comes to team member benefits. Health, dental, vision, paid-time-off, employee assistance program (E. g. legal advice, counseling, well-being, etc.) personal development assistance program (E. g. financial aid for education), AFLAC, annual performance based merit raise, workload bonus program, and retirement are part of the excellent benefits package extended to our team members. These benefits are a testament to our commitment to ensuring the absolute best for our team!
Advance your career!
Our size, diversity, and base locations allow us to provide advancement opportunities other ambulance providers are unable to offer. For example, field medics have opportunities to promote to field training officers. Beyond that, the sky is the limit, including operation supervisor positions, instructor positions, and more! Don't forget to take advantage of our personal development assistance program that can provide much-needed support to advance your career, such as educational expenses!
Where ever you want to go, or need to go, there we are!
The future can be unpredictable but, no matter where you go in Oklahoma, you're probably near a Miller EMS base, making transfer opportunities available to team members who find themselves forced to relocate or desire to relocate.
Orientation academy- get in the know!
Over the last year, we have made vast strides in several areas, including education and team member orientation. Our improved approach allows for a more thorough orientation process that better prepares team members for entry into our system. New team members will attend an academy style orientation that presents all aspects of our company and operation. They will learn about policies, protocols, equipment, and overall expectations. They will have opportunities to meet company leadership and gain a firm understanding of why Miller EMS is a leader in Oklahoma EMS.
Our current opportunity is in our central region, which includes our Cashion,Crescent, and Kingfisher locations. This region provides a combination of both 911 and inter-facility transport services. Paramedics and EMTs in this region work a rotation between Cashion and Kingfisher in order to keep their skills honed in both 911 and inter-facility disciplines. The rotation is one 24 hour shift per week in Cashion and one 24 hour shift a week in Kingfisher or Crescent.
