It’s an exciting time for us, as we continue to grow and add to our team. As such, we are currently seeking an Art Director who demonstrates the following skills and brings the following experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or equivalent
4+ years of print and interactive design work experience; at least 3 years' experience working in cross-functional teams within an agency
Strong design portfolio displaying beautifully crafted graphics, excellent typography and simple, clean design using modern, vibrant colors
Demonstrate an understanding of design principles, project management principles, and managing expectations
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
Proficient in the latest versions of applicable programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, MS Office software such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Solid understanding of online and offline production
Possess a passion for design and eagerness to mentor and elevate other team members
Possess exceptional leadership skills
Able to think strategically and work collaboratively with a team
Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed
Willing to take direction if and when needed, but also work independently
Able to respond positively to customer and peer criticism and feedback
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally
Display a dependable, strong work ethic
Able to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment
Job Snapshot: Responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts for leading-edge marketing for new and existing print, digital and video products for Miles Partnership’s clients.

Essential Duties:
Provides design leadership in the development and communication of creative concepts for both print, online and video products
Understands target audiences’ needs, tasks and goals and translating them into creative concepts
Creates compelling concepts and works with a cross-functional team to bring the vision to final deliverables
Designs and produces high-quality travel marketing layouts and designs for print products (including multi-page guides, magazine inserts and marketing materials) and digital products (including banner ads, email, and webpages)
Prepares and finalizes print design files appropriately for the printer
Proofs designs to ensure ready for review by rest of the team and provide final QA on all art-related elements of the products
Performs photo collections for general use and/or for specific needs; knowing where to look for relevant and dynamic photography
Prepare and present creative concepts to clients by communicating ideas, processes and strategies that went into the overall design concept.
