The Slot/Arcade Games Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of our slot/Arcade machines. The technician will be required to perform equipment testing, service calls and make necessary repairs to electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains all equipment related to our slot product.
  • Maintains a log of machine repairs and problematic units.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team to ensure successful and on-time repairs.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company and product information
  • Exercises appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.
  • Familiar with and able to operate hand tools and small power tools
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • GED or high school diploma required. A certificate or associate programs in slot technology or electronics engineering technology preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Experience Slot or Arcade machine repair preferred
  • Knowledge of basic electronics necessary
  • Mechanical competency a must

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must be a self-starter and hands-on individual.
  • Must have multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must be flexible to work necessary hours to meet business needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electronic schematics a plus.
  • Must have strong customer service, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Must have good computer skills and knowledge.Must possess strong technical skills, both electrical and mechanical.

Work Environment:

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
