We are seeking two dynamic and engaging individuals to join our white-glove customer service team. The ideal candidates are meticulous and thorough, eager to solve problems, learn quickly, work well independently and as part of a team, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy discussing meat and cooking with a wide range of people on the phone and online. This position requires proficiency in Google Apps, as well as sufficient technological skills to comfortably navigate multiple web-based admin portals to edit customer orders. Experience using ZenDesk, ShipStation and BigCommerce is desired, but not required. Familiarity and experience in the kosher food world is desired and is a big plus.

Start Date: ASAP

Work location: This is a remote position. You must have a computer and a quiet place with reliable internet connection where you can work. (We will provide you with a company headset. You will be expected to provide your own computer and Internet connection.) Must reside in the USA or be able to provide a US address.

  • Computer Minimum Requirements:
  • 2Ghz processor (dual or quad core preferred)
  • 2-4 GB of RAM
  • Sound card, speakers, headset jack
  • 15" to 17" monitor
  • Virus and spyware protection software.
  • Reliable internet connection. High speed internet.

Hours:

Position #1

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30am-1:00pm ET
  • Rotating Sunday 7:00pm-9:00pm ET
  • Available during busy seasons for extra shifts

Position #2

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:30pm-5:00pm ET
  • Friday 12pm-5pm ET (Spring/Summer), 12pm-4pm (Fall/Winter)
  • Rotating Sunday 7:00pm-9:00pm ET
  • Available during busy seasons for extra shifts

Compensation:

  • $14/hour start rate (yearly review & raise opportunity)
  • Time off: 5 paid sick days, paid Jewish holidays (up to 14 days/year) plus 4 unpaid US holidays
  • 15% employee discount plus monthly $75 meat stipend

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails using ZenDesk Support and ZenDesk Talk, including taking orders, answering questions about products and delivery options, and responding to complaints/problems.
  • Coordinating with the Operations Department regarding order fulfillment and delivery
  • Promoting products to existing customers via calls and emails
  • Data entry and clerical work
  • Other duties as assigned
