We are looking for a skilled Industrial maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance of our industrial equipment. As a preventive maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. The right candidate will work closely with the operations to ensure equipment is ok to shut down for service and test equipment function after service is complete.
To ensure success as our preventive maintenance technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, a top-class preventative maintenance technician boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.
Senior Preventative Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, pneumatics drawings and following work instructions.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, de-dusting systems, compressors, pumps, and production-related equipment.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of automated machines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and electrical issues.
- Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Communicating with Management teams form all areas of facilities for scheduling PMs (vessel, bulk, mixing, packing)
- Preparing and submitting accurate detailed reports with supporting pictures.
- Auditing work orders performed by techs
- Auditing daily inspections
- Assisting in special projects by directing team while working with them
- Utilizing CMMS to record failures and work performed.
- Mentoring techs with less experience to better suit plant needs
- On call work schedule for emergency scenarios
Senior Preventative Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of compressors, mechanical, and electrical systems maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical is required PLC is a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with strong attention to details.
- Basic computer and report writing skills, familiarity with Upkeep or other CMMS is preferred.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders & Manlifts.
- Capable of operating forklifts and telehandlers.
- Ability to climb 10-15 flights of stairs sometimes multiple times in a short amount of time when necessary.
- Ability to climb 100-200’ ladders to reach top of silos.
- Have T.W.I.C. card or willing to obtain one.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
