An engineering firm dedicated to ensuring the safety of multi-family buildings is seeking a passionate and innovative Team Licensed Professional Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a talented team of 17 employees, including electrical designers, drafters, and support staff, all while working remotely. The role involves providing daily objectives, developing reward systems, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that client expectations are met.
Candidates should have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. While this is a fully remote position, preference will be given to candidates based in Las Vegas, New Orleans, or Boulder, as the team operates from these key locations. Salary Range: $120,000 - $125,000 / year DOE
Licensed Professional Engineer Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in a similar role (7 years preferred)

PE licensed (any state, willing to transfer)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam

Background in electrical engineering, ideally within a consulting firm

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to work fully remote with occasional in-person meetings as needed

Experience managing multifamily, warehouse, MLB, and restaurant projects

Ability to oversee and guide two electrical designers and a drafter

Capable of limited site visits as required

Ability to collaborate closely with the Director of Production to meet client and organizational expectations

MEP experience from an electrical perspective is preferred

Preference for candidates in Las Vegas, NV, New Orleans, LA or Boulder, CO
Licensed Professional Engineer Responsibilities:

Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the team

Delegate team tasks and set deadlines
-
Monitor team performance and report metrics to the Director of Production

Resolve any issues or conflicts with team members
-
Coach and mentor staff to improve performance
-
Provide constructive feedback to team members as needed
-
Manage project documentation including backgrounds, emails, RFIs, submittals, and project deliverables

Coordinate cross-discipline team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met

Develop project deadlines and prepare status reports
-
Facilitate change requests and update billing status for projects
