The Office of Institutional Advancement and Communications oversees all HSC communications and advancement activity. This includes fundraising, external affairs, marketing, brand identity, and academic communications.
Salary Information Salary Commensurate with experience
The Associate Vice President, Development, is a key leadership partner to the Senior Vice President of Communications and leads all areas impacting the success of the Development team. The Associate VP will be a key collaborator in strategy development and be directly responsible for developing and implementing operating plans, metrics, and measurements to support those strategies, and managing multiple staff with direct responsibility for carrying out these plans. The AVP will work closely with the Development team to cultivate and solicit individuals and organizations with capacity to make gifts of $10,000 and greater. The Associate VP will serve as Executive Director of the UNTHSC Foundation and will work closely with its Board of Directors.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years successful front-line strategy, operations, and team management experience.
