Lincoln College of Technology in Grand Prairie, TX is currently seeking a highly motivated, problem solver, whose everyday practice is to always place the customer before the paper!

As Lincoln’s Financial Aid Advisor your responsibilities will include:

Advising prospective students of all tuition funding sources available
Assisting students with questions regarding the completion of the Financial Aid applications.
Conducting entrance interviews, testing, and exit interviews as required by Title IV and company regulations.
Preparing forms timely and accurately.
Preparing students’ promissory notes and ensuring that promissory are properly completed and signed with required documentation
Maintaining required employment certifications with applicable state agencies
Experience and Skills

To succeed in this position you should be able to:
Have Financial Aid Experience
Communicate effectively with new and continuing students
Work effectively with the employees and managers from other departments - especially Admissions
Be organized and detail oriented
Multi-task successfully and have strong time management skills
Have a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Have outstanding follow-up skills

Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
Have knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations with specific knowledge of Direct Loan Programs, PELL Grants, and Title IV
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience administering Direct Loans and PELL in a college setting
Possess strong follow up, customer service and organizational skills
Be computer literate
