Job Description

This position will report to Records Manager. Performs clerical tasks associated with the maintenance of records for students enrolled in the Job Corp Program.

  • Maintains accurate files for all students
  • Prepares folders for new arrivals. Prints arrival list, interview sheets, labels, ETA 6-106 form, etc.
  • Pulls medical questionnaire and copes for Health Services. Seals any court information.
  • Prints various forms/reports for other departments.
  • Enter new students information into the system. Enters routine information in the computer daily as it relates to student activities.
  • Processes and distributes clothing warrants for student clothing allotments on a monthly basis. Collects an files clothing receipts.
  • Reviews for accuracy and processes transportation request for students and new recruits.
  • Backs up Center Information System and performs routine clerical duties.
  • Manages the implementation new networks, computers and software applications.
  • Works with the Job Corps Data Center, computer maintenance companies and software vendors in resolving problems.
  • Identifies computer hardware and software problems and tracks those problems until they are solved. Makes recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Advanced training in programming and hardware installation and maintenance through technical institution.
  • One to Two years work related IT experience.
  • Valid State Driver's license.
