We are seeking Traveling Superintendents to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- This is an on-site position.
- Ensure that the PTI safety program and site safety protocols are being followed in the field.
- Ensure proper customer service and support during commissioning.
- Ensure a high-quality install by directing the foreman and field team in the most efficient way possible.
- Communicate with PM any questions about scope, schedule, or material budget.
Qualifications:
- Willing to remain on-site for the project duration.
- Three plus years of electrical leadership experience on large new construction projects.
- Previous electrical experience with a focus in building automation and power management systems.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in fast paced environments and effectively communicate.
- Ability to overcome obstacles and maintain budget and scope.
- Familiarity with managing resources and maintaining a high level of production.
- Mechanical and electrical systems familiarity.
- Knowledge of relay design standards and electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the PTI and site safety protocols are being followed in the field and all field documentation is being completed and turned into the necessary recipients on time.
- Assist the customer with commissioning activities to include support, trouble shooting, and check list completion.
- Maintain an accurate install schedule and plan of execution with alternative tasks planned in the event of delays or roadblocks. Provide durations for tasks to the PM for high level scheduling.
- Ensure that the customer has the project installation information they need in the field and coordinate with the PM to install the project in a way that is advantageous for the integrator to commission.
- Provide redlines/as-builds monthly to the PM to update project documents effectively.
- Attending all superintendent field meetings and walks including quality and safety when necessary.
- Review submittals, specifications, and any other necessary project documents. Manage and coordinate materials with foreman so that the crew can be as productive as possible.
- Manage PTI owned tools and equipment that are housed on-site.
- Manage supervisor time sheets based on sign-in/sign-out provided by foreman.
- Ensure field and office communications are current with PM.
- Communicate any PPE or equipment needs with the PM.
- Manage and coordinate a quality plan with the foreman to ensure a high-quality install and make corrections.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 56 per week
